Welcome to the Alberta Children’s Epilepsy Program. We are a multidisciplinary group of physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and researchers that work with families and children affected by seizures. Our program provides support and services from the first seizure to severe difficult to treat epilepsies.
On this homepage, you will find all the information about the Alberta Children’s Epilepsy Program. You can learn about diagnostics and treatments offered at Alberta Children’s Hospital. You will also find updates about ongoing events, clinical trials and research programs.
Every year our team takes care of 3000 children with seizures and epilepsy, most of them from southern Alberta. Our epilepsy surgery service and clinical trails are also offered to children from other provinces.
