Projects Funded

Scholarship & Advocacy

DLRI engages in scholarship to help improve the delivery of rural education curriculum, foster rural healthcare interest, and inform rural practice. We also work with other institutions to inform initiatives and policies to advocate for rural healthcare in Alberta and the whole Canada.

Supporting Learners

DLRI believes it is important to support students and medical residents interested in scholarship activities. Through research and scholarship, we help promote the "rural perspective" and bolster student interest in rural learning opportunities.
