Project description:
With the conclusion of the Sudanese Physician Reintegration Program and the CIDA-funded South Sudan Healthcare Accessibility, Rehabilitation and Education program (SHARE), the SSEF was established to enable the continuation of physician training and healthcare capacity building within South Sudan.
The purpose of the fund is to provide targeted educational support to the physicians and their immediate family members. Support would be twofold:
- To provide funds for the medical upgrading of the physicians
- To provide funds for the immediate family members of the physicians to attend school
