Dr. D. Grant Gall Award in International Health (CSM Undergraduate Students)
Grant Gall, former Dean of the Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) from 1997-2007, recognized the importance of global partnerships for undergraduate learning. This award honours his memory through competitive awards which support global travel and related costs for CSM undergraduate medical education (UME, MD) and Bachelor of Health Science/Community Rehabilitation Studies trainees as well as undergraduates from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Application criteria vary by program. If you are a CSM undergraduate student considering a global health experience through an organized program (structured UME clerkship elective, field school, etc), please inquire through the Global Health Office (globalhealth@ucalgary.ca) regarding your eligibility and the application process. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine undergraduates should contact the Dean’s office for more information.
