Start-up Services

Whether you’re a new or experienced investigator, starting up a clinical trial can be a daunting, time-consuming task. CCCR's startup services, offered through our experienced Clinical Trial Program Administrator, help take care of this process on your behalf. Start-up services include:

Submissions:

We’ll work with you to coordinate and complete all the necessary submissions required prior to you starting your clinical trial. These include: 

• Support for the Site Selection Visit;
• Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions;  
• budget submissions; 
• contract submissions;  
• Alberta Health Services resource requests; and 
• service requests. 

Processing:

From there, we ensure that any necessary reviews or negotiations involving your submissions are handled quickly and efficiently.

Approvals:

Lastly, we’ll ensure you’ve got all the submission and request approvals you need to get up and running.
