Biography
Dr. Steven Peters is a neurologist in Calgary with fellowship training in Stroke, and neurohospitalist medicine. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Neurology Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. Dr. Peters completed adult Neurology Residency training at McGill University, a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience in Calgary, and a vascular neurology and neurohospitalist fellowship at the University of Washington.
He joined the department focussing on the Inpatient Neurology program at Foothills Medical Center. He sees outpatients in the General Neurology, Urgent Neurology, and Stroke Prevention Clinics and inpatients on both the inpatient neurology and stroke services. His interests include quality improvement and process improvement in inpatient neurology and establishing a registry of inpatient neurologic disease.
