Collaborators

Principal Research Collaborators include faculty members mainly from the Departments of Radiology and Clinical Neurosciences, and the Hotchkiss Brain Institute (HBI), at the University of Calgary, and from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas in Brasil. The Seaman Family MR Research Centre has a research agreement with General Electric Healthcare.

Funding Support

Research activities within the Vascular Imaging Laboratory have been and are funded or supported in part by the Hopewell Professorship in Brain Imaging, the HBI, Alberta Innovates-Health Solutions (AI-HS), the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR), the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

Graduate and Post-graduate Training

Much of the work we do at the Vascular Imaging Laboratory is focused around Research Training, primarily at the graduate (PhD) and post-doctoral level. These efforts occur with the Department of Radiology and in conjunction with the Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science and Neurosciences graduate programs.
