Current and prospective students and trainees are invited and encouraged to apply for internal and external funding source for financial support. The following table provides a listing of potential awards. In 2021, VIL students and fellows received over $100,000 in scholarship and fellowships.

It is intended as a guideline and is obviously greatly modified by the qualities and experiences of the individual applicant and the alignment of their research project with the focus of the agency.
