Diabetes Educators Calgary Charting Guidelines

In Chart Review, use the Encounters tab to view previous encounters.

As more and more visits are documented in CC, the list of previous encounters will become longer and longer. It will be important to use the Filter capability to find what you are after. 

Use this cautiously, though. You might inadvertently filter out visits you might need to review. 

Suggestion:

• View recent visits first, to learn about possible urgent care visits.
• Then filter for Department Specialty = Endocrinology to see previous encounters with Diabetes Educators, DIP, endocrinologists
