Vascular

The vascular anesthesia program supports the tertiary referral care of patients from southern Alberta, eastern British Columbia and southern Saskatchewan.  The patient population includes arterial aneurysmal disease, occlusive disease, vascular trauma, vascular access, oncologic and venous surgery.  The program is a high volume endovascular center for complex thoracic, abdominal aortic and hybrid endovascular/open procedures. Point of care ultrasound and peri-operative echocardiography are utilized to assist in the management of complex patients.
