Dr. Timothy and Mrs. Linda Tang Anesthesia Research Fund

The Tim and Linda Tang Anesthesia Research Fund was created to provide financial support to encourage research activities among members of the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. Generously funded by the Tangs as well as contributions from Departmental members, the fund has provided over $268K to 22 projects originating from all five Calgary Anesthesia Divisions over the past 10 years. The research activities focus on, but are not limited to, Patient Outcomes, Quality Improvement and Cardiac Anesthesia. The funding may be used for research endeavors or stipends for research trainees (undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows). Funds cannot be used to provide personal financial support for principal investigators or residents. The fund is administered by an Advisory Committee comprised of: Department Head, Anesthesia; University, Dean of Research; FMC Section Head and the Project Holder (Dr Seal).

Thank you to those that contributed previously. April is Giving Month at the University of Calgary during which all donations (up to a maximum of $2500) will be matched by the University. All donations, from individuals and professional corporations, will receive a tax receipt from the University of Calgary.
