Clinical Fellows

The University of Calgary offers a diverse range of clinical and research fellowship programs designed for physicians who have completed certification in their home country.

A clinical fellowship provides an exceptional opportunity for physicians to pursue advanced training and develop specialized expertise beyond what is typically acquired during residency. These programs are intended for recognized specialists or family physicians seeking to enhance their skills in a focused area of practice.

Clinical fellowship training generally spans six months to two years, offering immersive, hands-on experience under the guidance of leading experts. Fellows gain exposure to advanced clinical techniques, innovative treatments, and multidisciplinary collaboration, preparing them to deliver the highest standard of care in their chosen specialty.

In addition to clinical fellowships, the University of Calgary also supports research fellowship programs, enabling physicians to engage in cutting-edge research projects that contribute to medical innovation and improved patient outcomes.
