PGY-1 PROGRAM AND ROTATIONS

PGY-1

The PGY-1 year is a 13-block rotation internship with the goal of preparing residents to be well-rounded physicians.

Given the advent of Competence by Design (CBD), all PGY-1 Psychiatry residents will begin their first two months of the year in psychiatry as part of the Transition to Discipline stage, which emphasizes the orientation and assessment of new trainees.
