The Kids Help Phone service provide:

  • counselling and information service over the phone for children and teenagers

  • Always There app, to help cope with stress, teach about emotional health, connect to Kids Help Phone counsellor over the phone or through Live Chat
  • tools and resources on website, specific to children or teens, for example, on bullying

is available Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 7:30pm, Friday 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm

Calgary Counselling Centre provide counselling and group programs to help individuals, couples, parents, families and youth with emotional and social challenges:

  • Appointments take 3 to 5 business days after intake
  • The cost is determined on a sliding scale, and may be covered extended health benefits

South Calgary Heath Centre provides free drop-in counselling services.

AHS Youth Substance and Mental Health Service

Intake and assessment takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30am to 10 am: 403-297- 4664

AHS Youth Substance Use and Mental Health Services provide addiction services support for youth aged 12 to 17. Other services include:

  • Recovery, stabilization and detox program
  • Youth outpatient counselling
  • Mobile services team
  • Adolescent Day Treatment Program
  • Wilderness Treatment Program
