EMS/Disaster Medicine Fellowship

The University of Calgary EMS & Disaster Medicine Fellowship programs are one year certificate programs designed to train emergency physicians in aspects of pre-hospital emergency care. The program integrates components of medical education, research, administration, and clinical training. The fellowship is designed to allow for maximal flexibility and choice in course work, and material and long as the core content outlined below is completed. The two streams are designed such that they can be taken independently or combined into an individualized learning curriculum. Following completion of the program the fellow will receive a certificate from the University of Calgary PGME acknowledging specialized training in EMS or Disaster Medicine.
