1 EMS postgraduate trainee and 1 Disaster postgraduate trainee may be accepted per academic year (maximum 2 residents per year).

The residents who will be considered for acceptance into this post-graduate training program are:

• July 2016- June 2017 – University of Calgary PGY4 FRCPC Emergency Medicine FRCP Residents
• July 2017-June 2020 - Any Canadian PGY4 FRCPC Emergency Medicine Resident, or any FRCPC or CCFP Graduate, Emergency                     Staff Physician (self-funded)

The application process is as follows:

• Interested candidate submits a letter of interest, CV, two reference letters and letter of support from program director (Deadline February 1st) to designated program directors

• Candidates are invited for an interview (March 1st)
• Acceptances are sent out (April 1st)
• The accepted candidate must provide proof of funding, provincial appropriate CMPA and CPSA licensure and standard paperwork as required by the University of Calgary PGME and AHS (May 1st) 
• One month probationary period commences (July 1st)
