Dermatology

Our service provides consultations for children with skin conditions in Alberta, and neighbouring Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

We provide a consultation service for pediatric skin conditions of concern to physicians or healthcare professionals where past treatment has proven unsuccessful or where additional investigation is needed in order to provide treatment and/or diagnosis. We collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines to provide multidisciplinary care for complex patients. As certified dermatologists, we are able to provide continuity of care for our pediatric patients transitioning to adult care in our general dermatology clinics at other sites.

Conditions diagnosed and treated:

  • Skin lesions not yet diagnosed
  • Vascular anomalies (coordinated care with the Vascular Birth Mark Clinic)
  • Nevi/moles
  • Dermatitis
  • Psoriasis
    • Psoriatic Arthritis Combined Clinic with Rheumatology (Dr. Prajapati)
  • Pigmentation disorders
