Community Pediatrics

The Section of Community Pediatrics provides consulting and complex primary care to children of all ages throughout Calgary and surrounding communities.

Located in multiple clinic locations, and comprised of more than 100 community pediatricians, the Section provides care in both office and hospital settings for a diverse range of medical, developmental and behavioural conditions. The Section also plays a very active role in leadership, education and advocacy.

A physician Referral is required for all Clinics. Please contact your physician or family doctor.

The section promotes ongoing research in collaboration with the Department and other partners.

The Department of Pediatrics does not currently have a PGME program in Community Pediatrics.

• Behavioural and psychological concerns can be seen, but not urgently.
