The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary is a tertiary care unit that serves critically ill children from southern Alberta, southeastern British Columbia, and southwestern Saskatchewan.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary is a fifteen bed tertiary care unit that serves as a major referral centre for critically ill children from southern Alberta, southeastern British Columbia, and southwestern Saskatchewan. We care for a varied patient population including infants, children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. These patients can have a variety of complex medical or surgical problems.
