Welcome to the Section of General Surgery.

Our section includes four main sites in Calgary with a team of just under 50 surgeons. Our surgeons and staff work hard to deliver outstanding patient care, and we are proud of our reputation for excellence in the delivery of surgical care to patients across Southern Alberta.

General surgeons carry out a wide range of surgeries, with many members having specialist training in one or more of the following:
