Section members take an active role in research through various clinical trials, theoretical research, and other research fields. The section has recently been awarded the annual Surgical Innovation Award for Retro-Peritoneal Cooling for Kidney Preservation from Multi-Organ Cadaver Donors (A Novel Technique).
