WHMIS

ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) online training before they can work in the ATSSL lab facilities. This is where all of your anatomy teaching takes place.

Please sign up for this course here under EHS Course Listing - scroll down to WHMIS 2015. Click the link and you will be asked to log in with your user name and password (same as the one you use to access your Student Center).

Once you have completed the course, you will receive a confirmation email and a certificate. Please send one or both to  umeoweek@ucalgary.ca  WHMIS training must be completed and confirmation sent to this email by the last day of July. If you have already done this training you do not need to redo it, please just send your confirmation email or certificate.

If you encounter difficulties enrolling in the course and/or launching the course in your browser, please email umeoweek@ucalgary.ca.

Student Photos and UCID Cards (UNICARDS)

The photo that you take on Day 1 will be sent to main campus for them to prepare your student ID card. The UME office will email the class when they are ready and you will be advised as to when and how to pick them up from us.

IMPORTANT: If you currently have a University of Calgary UCID card (Unicard) please email umeoweek@ucalgary.ca as soon as possible.

This photo will also be used in a class composite, on our evaluation system (ONE45) and on our educational platform (Osler) as well as other tools necessary for your training. Note: your OSCE evaluations will be videotaped.

NOTE: The photo taken on Day 1 is not your graduation photo and will not be on the wall. You will take another one in clerkship for this purpose.

Here is the Elections Manual  for the Class of 2022. Before any other position, the class will need an Elections Officer. If you are interested in being the Elections officer please contact Shannon Leskosky at sleskosk@ucalgary.ca
