Our vision is to ensure all DFM Faculty feel engaged and supported by the academic DFM in their delivery of high-quality teaching and educational leadership.
To provide and support an effective Faculty Development & Engagement (FDE) Program for all DFM Faculty, through the application of best practices, including the active development of communities of practice.
The Faculty Development program developed a strategic vision, work started in 2022 and the vision was launched in 2023. The recommendations outlined in the document are driving and informing the work that we do, and the programs and content offered.
We're working through the recommendations outlined in the strategic vision, so that we can meet the needs of our faculty and support them in their teaching and educational leadership roles.
The FTA framework has been utilized to streamline and focus the content we provide and meets the recommendation 'Establish and attempt alignment, wherever possible, with background education, competency, and leadership theoretical frameworks for all Faculty Development activities.'
