Canadian Medical Graduate (CMGs):

Canadian Medical Graduates enrolled as Residents in our RCPSC Neuroradiology Residency program will receive ministry-funded salary, as per the PARA agreement.

International Medical Graduates (IMGs):

International Medical Graduates enrolled as Clinical Fellows in our Neuroradiology Fellowship program are funded through the EFW Radiology Fellowship program. Funding is administered as per University of Calgary policies. The current 2025/2026 salary is $94,605.00/annum.

Government Sponsored Medical Graduates:

All applicants from government sponsored countries must have a signed financial guarantee provided to our PGME office. The governing country provides financial support. Applications must be submitted directly to their sponsoring organization who will advise our PGME of your application. Only applications from those sponsoring organizations who have an existing educational contract with the University of Calgary will be reviewed.

Self-Funding:

The University of Calgary does not allow for Self-funded Fellows. Please contact University of Calgary PGME if you have questions.
