- Apply the latest diagnostic, prognostic, and classification approaches for endocrine tumors in daily practice
- Review the most recent molecular and pathomechanistic insights into endocrine tumors
- Discuss future developments in interdisciplinary care for patients with endocrine tumors
Course Description
The 2024 Banff Pathology Course will be on the topic of Endocrine Pathology. The course aims to bring together professionals, researchers, practitioners, and trainees to foster collaboration and cutting-edge share knowledge in endocrine pathology. Endocrine Pathology is diverse affecting several organ systems including the thyroid, pancreas, GI tract, adrenal glands, parathyroid organs, pituitary to name a few. Recent updates to nomenclature, classification, grading, ancillary testing for these Endocrine tumours will be covered in the 2024 Banff pathology Course. Special sessions to emphasize the importance of collaborative clinicopathological correlations with Pathology experts and Endocrine clinicians (Oncologists, Endocrinologists and Nuclear Medicine experts) will also be part of this course.
