Dr Kristine Woodward is a Pediatric Neurologist at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. She has neurophysiological training in EEG as well as a fellowship and special interest in Neurocritical Care, and EEG use in neuro-critical monitoring. She is currently the fellowship director for the Neurocritical Care Program at ACH, and is a Clinical Assisstant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics of the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary.

Her research focuses on the improvement of prognostication for pediatric patients with complex neurological disease by better understanding their neurodevelopmental trajectories. She is interested in using advanced neuroimaging and neuromonitoring techniques to understand their relationship with functional outcomes, primarily in patients that present to the neurocritical care team in the ICU setting. Additionally, she is interested in quality improvement and assurance in neurocritical care and using big data to identify gaps in knowledge and practice and improve guidelines and care pathways.
