General Duties
1. Patient Care
a. Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for patients of all ages.
b. Examine patients, take their histories, and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
c. Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
d. Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.
e. Provide continuous care to patients, including acute care management and emergency care.
f. Develop and manage personalized treatment plans.

2. Medical Procedures
a. Perform routine medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, and minor surgeries. 
b. Administer vaccinations and injections to prevent and treat diseases.
c. Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging. 
d. Provide pre-natal and post-natal care.

3. Prescribing and Administration
a. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
b. Provide acute care management and emergency care as appropriate.

4. Patient Education and Counseling
a. Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive health measures.
b. Advise patients and their families on health care, including health promotion, disease prevention, and accident prevention.
c. Provide lifestyle and nutritional counseling to promote overall health and wellness. Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
d. Perform a patient advocacy role.

5. Collaboration and Coordination
a. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health staff. 
b. Coordinate patient care with other medical services and facilities when necessary.
c. Manage primary patient care and supervise home care services.
d. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.

6. Patient Records Management
a. Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
b. Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
c. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with medical record-keeping regulations.
d. Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authorities.

7. Continuous Learning and Professional Development
a. Stay current with medical research, advancements, and best practices.
b. Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
c. Attend medical conferences and workshops to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
