GENERAL DUTIES
Seeking Locum for Maternity Leave
Duration: 6 months
Timeline: March 2025 - Sept 2025 (Timeline negotiable due to lovely flexible colleagues)
LOCATION
Olds, Alberta! Only 45 minutes to Calgary International Airport. Only 1 hour to Foothills (tertiary referral centre) and 50 minutes to Red Deer (central zone referral centre). Great community with awesome community facilities. Excellent group of collaborative and supportive colleagues at hospital and clinic!
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
- Family Medicine clinic (2 days per week, but can increase as you desire - there is always demand for clinic)
- Emergency Medicine** (4 shifts / month with opportunity to pick up more)
- Low risk obstetrics** (1 in 6 call rota - 24 hour call generally. Approx. 225 deliveries/ year)
- Hospitalist / Inpatient Care** (1 in 10 rotation, one week of hospitalist coverage at a time)
- Advanced & Surgical Obstetrics (OSS/ESS)** (1 in 3 call)
- Teaching Medical Students & Residents**
