Welcome! We are excited to work with you at the Jacaranda Medical Clinic and at the Olds Hospital. Please note that this rural family medicine rotation is designed to include hospital-based care at the Olds Hospital (which includes ER shifts, hospitalist and inpatient care, low risk obstetrics, anesthesia call, surgical call, palliative care and elective OR time with anesthesia), as well as family medicine clinic based at the Jacaranda Medical Clinic in Didsbury. We are only 15 minutes from the Olds hospital where all our physician’s work. We want to design a rural family medicine rotation that suits your learning needs and interests. We will focus on hands-on training and helping you enjoy rural family medicine!
