GAC & QEII ONLINE Application now OPEN

The GAC (Graduate Award Competition) Application is now open. This is now an online application that you will find through your Student Center under Financial Aid. The deadline for submitting your application and all accompanying paperwork is 11:59 PM Monday, January 7th 2019.

The GAC Competition in the Faculty of Grad Studies (FGS) offers the following scholarships ranging in value up to $36,000: 
• Izaak Walton Killam Doctoral Scholarship 
• Open Doctoral Scholarships 
• Alberta Innovates Graduate Student Scholarships
• Special Awards 
• Bursaries

Harmonization of GAC and QEII Applications: You will only need to complete the GAC application to also be considered for a program recommended QEII. 

Eligibility
It is your responsibility to determine which awards, scholarships or bursaries that you are eligible for, visit the Graduate Awards Database to aid in your determination.

Transcripts
Transcripts will be added to your application after the deadline by your GPA based on the information provided in the application. You do not need to request transcripts.

References
References are completed online and will need to be entered into your application. Instructions on notifying your references is in the application.

IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility to ensure your application is complete and submitted by the deadline. You will be able to check your status in your student center. Please advise your GPA if changes need to be made after submission, but prior to the deadline. APPLY EARLY!!
