Dr. Mark Swain, MD, MSc, FRCPC and his team on receiving funding for their project to eliminate Hepatitis C in Alberta. Funding from the Alberta Innovates Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Health System (PRIHS) program will allow the team to work towards creating an equitable, patient centric, clinical care pathway-driven, hepatitis C virus (HCV) care model that effectively channels public, private and academic capacities to enable the shift of HCV care from specialist treatment centers to community-based pharmacies.
