Professor to give presentations in Calgary and Vancouver
Professor Jennifer Koshan is giving presentations this week on medically assisted dying and sexual assault on trial.
Jennifer presented to the Canadian Bar Association's Wills and Trust subsection on medically assisted dying on June 14. Jennifer's presentation was titled "The History and Future of Physician Assisted Death in Canada."
On June 15, Jennifer will participate on a panel at the University of British Columbia titled "Sexual Assault on Trial: Ghomeshi, Survivors, Media and the Law." The event is sponsored by the university's Associate Vice-President of Equity and Inclusion. The panel will ask what we have learned from the public discourse around the Ghomeshi trials and start a conversation about how we can better serve survivors of sexual assault.
