Awards and Recognition
The CSM's Awards and Recognition Committee honour faculty members and their achievements. Awards and honours range from early career awards and community honours, to distinguished achievement awards such as Royal Society of Canada and Canadian Academy of Health Sciences Fellowships.

Our team provides community engagement guidance and assists our communities achieve their goals through networking, strategic planning, project management, learning and research.
Distributed Learning and Rural Initiatives
We foster and sustain meaningful relationships between medical educators, healthcare professionals in training and individuals and families living in rural Alberta. Our commitment to education and research results in the recruitment and retention of dedicated, skilled rural physicians.

The Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) recognizes how difficult it can be for individuals to come forward with concerns of mistreatment and is dedicated to ensuring that everyone's voice is heard. Our goal is fostering a culture of respect, with a focus on preventing mistreatment and upholding accountability.

Centre for Advanced Technologies (CAT)
The essential technologies administered under CAT support contemporary biomedical research across diverse areas, including genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and cellular and medical imaging.

Centre for Health Informatics (CHI)
CHI brings together data assets to foster collaboration among investigators, support grant development, recruit faculty and students, develop cutting-edge analytics, and build capacity in data science and machine-learning.

Calgary Centre for Clinical Research (CCCR)
CCCR provides support services and guidance to investigators, staff and study teams as they conduct clinical research (including clinical trials).

Clinical Research Unit (CRU)
CRU provides statistical support for clinical trials (study design, randomization, and statistical analysis) as well as observational studies (administrative data requests, cohort extractions, statistical analysis).
