Planetary Health is a solutions-oriented, transdisciplinary field and social movement focused on understanding and addressing the impacts of human disruptions to Earth’s natural systems. It considers both the impact to human health and the health of all life on Earth.
At the Cumming School of Medicine, we want to ensure we meet our commitment as signatories of the Associated Faculties of Medicine of Canada’s (AFMC) Declaration on Planetary Health.

Science in the Cinema Presents Plastic People
Plastic is used everyday in the packaging of our food, in the toys our children play with and in health care. Plastics can break down into smaller and smaller pieces called "microplastics". Join us for a conversation that explores important questions about the impacts of microplastics on the environment and on our health.
