Commitment to the Indigenous Health Dialogue

We will uphold the five directions identified for CSM to be an effective champion,
collaborator, facilitator and advocate for Indigenous health.

Objectives

  1. Deliver on the recommendations of the Indigenous Health Dialogue (IHD)
  2. Commitment to an independent, self-determined, Indigenous Health Office
  3. Drive quantifiable improvements in Indigenous health

Principles

  • Embed self-determined Indigenous content and pedagogy in education
  • Commit to supporting Indigenous health research
  • Deliver on the five directions of IHD for a path forward
  • Implement the critical reflective framework of the IHD
