Congratulations to Dr. Marc Lebel

Marc Lebel, Lead Scientist for Neuro MR at GE Healthcare and adjunct professor at the University of Calgary, is the technical visionary and innovator behind AIR Recon DL - GE’s first deep learning reconstruction in MRI. He developed a novel deep learning reconstruction model that solves an age old problem in MR by removing noise and ringing from MR raw data with while preserving the full fidelity and intrinsic spatial resolution.

AIR Recon DL improves the radiologist and patient experience through shorter scan times while also increasing diagnostic confidence with better image quality across all anatomies.  Now with AIR Recon DL, clinicians and technologists will no longer have to choose between image quality and scan time.   First clinical installations of this new technology are seeing 30-50% scan time reductions, a major benefit for clinicians, techs and patients alike.
