Biography

Eldon is an Associate Professor with expertise in Health Economics. He has an interest in methods for sustainable health care and is particularly interested in assessing the value and opportunity costs of health care technologies and interventions. Eldon holds a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Calgary and a PhD from the Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research and Policy Program at the University of Washington. He joins the U of C from the Centre of Health Economics at the University of York in the UK. Eldon’s research focuses on evidence uncertainty in decision making and understanding the health consequences of diverting funding to new health investments.
