Biography

Dr. Uzma Erum is a community rheumatologist and clinical assistant professor with the Cumming School of Medicine’s Division of Rheumatology. Currently, she has a rheumatology practice in southeast Calgary.

Dr. Erum completed her medical school at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1999, before completing her internal medicine residency at Aga Khan University Hospital. She later completed residencies for both internal medicine and rheumatology here at the University of Calgary. A firm believer in providing holistic care for complex rheumatology disorders, she’s very interested in encouraging future leaders in the field, and is involved in both undergraduate and post-graduate medical education.
