Activities
My research interests are in signaling pathways that are deregulated in cancer. In the past, I have worked on modeling cancer initiation and progression using developmental and transgenic mouse models. My current research is focused on cancer stem cells in brain tumours. My research employs a stem cell biology approach to study of the role of these cells in cancer initiation, progression, treatment resistance and disease recurrence through studying intracellular signalling mechanisms
