Our gastroenterologists and hepatologists in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology provide advanced expertise in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of all conditions affecting the gastrointestinal system. Referral from a physician/advanced practice provider is required for consultation by a member of the Division. We are not able to answer any medical questions from visitors to this webpage.
Patients referred to our Division may have their initial consultation either in clinic or in the endoscopy suite depending on the reasons for referral and their medical profile.
A good starting resource for information about conditions affecting the gastrointestinal system is through MyHealth.Alberta.ca. Further general details about the procedures performed by members of our division including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) can also be found through searching the MyHealth.Alberta.ca Test/Procedure Database. If you have specific questions, please contact your physician’s office.
