The division of Endocrinology is dedicated to providing excellence of care to patients with pre Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and Type 1 DM.
We also work in collaboration with several other specialty clinics including:
- Transition Clinics that help guide young adults with Diabetes from care at the ACH to adult Endocrinology
- Transplant Clinic consults (Diabetes secondary to transplant)
- Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes
Typically, patients with Diabetes are offered an appointment with a diabetes educator prior to their appointment with the Endocrinologist in order to optimize care. Currently our wait times to see an diabetes educator is approximately 2 weeks and to see Endocrinologist is approximately 8 weeks.

Diabetes Education & the Diabetes Centre Calgary
The division of Endocrinology provides education at various clinics for patients with diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia and various sites across the city. Please fill out the referral form if you would like to refer the patient for education only, fax to Endocrine Central Access and Triage at 403-955-8634. If you would like your patient to see an Endocrinologist, please indicate that on the form.
