Education & QI Resources/Tools
The Health Analytics & Quality (HAQ) Speaker Series is a monthly forum designed for quality improvement (QI) practitioners looking to expand their knowledge and share experiences with peers. Sessions feature interactive scholarly lectures with invited speakers, covering topics such as methodology, tools, research, leadership, and data. As an essential resource for the QI community of practice, this forum fosters constructive feedback, debate, and discussion. By the end of the series, participants will be able to explain the core principles and key concepts of QI, compare different models and frameworks, and apply QI tools and techniques in practice. They will also gain the skills to design and implement QI projects, evaluate outcomes using both qualitative and quantitative methods, integrate ethical considerations into their initiatives, and assess the impact of digital transformation on QI processes.
Speaker Series
The Health Analytics and Quality (HAQ) Working Group hosts a speaker series from September through June, offering an interactive platform for quality improvement (QI) practitioners to share knowledge and experiences. Each session features invited speakers presenting on themes such as QI methodology, tools, research, leadership, and data-driven strategies. These scholarly lectures promote collaboration and learning within the Department of Medicine (DOM). Information about upcoming HAQ sessions is shared through DOM Announcements and Newsletters.
