Dr. Chioma Aniekwe

Dr. Aniekwe joined our team here in Calgary from University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton where she worked as a clinical assistant in General Internal Medicine. She worked in several outpatient medical clinics in Calgary before joining AHS. She is committed to patient-driven care.

Dr. Fatima Aziz

Dr. Fatima Aziz

Dr. Fatima Aziz as an International Medical Graduate from Pakistan. Upon relocation to Canada, Dr. Aziz assumed the role of Clinical Assistant alongside a family physician in an outpatient setting. Currently, she serves as a Clinical Assistant in the General Internal Medicine department at Peter Lougheed Hospital. She is passionate about delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, painting, and sightseeing, embracing nature and creativity.
Dr. Nasrin Chowdhury

Dr. Nasrin Chowdhury

Dr. Chowdhury completed her medical education and training in Bangladesh before furthering her education with an MSc in Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. Her dedication lies in providing patient-centered care and following evidence-based practices. She spends her free time with her family and volunteering.

Dr. Syeda Kashaf Fatima

Dr. Syeda Kashaf Fatima

Dr. Syeda Kashaf Fatima graduated from Dow Medical College in 2018 and began her medical career as a house officer training in Pakistan's largest hospital. Dr. Fatimas’s journey included roles as General Physician and Sonographer, where she provided care to low-income families. Upon relocating to Canada, she continued her medical path as a Sonographer and now as a Clinical Assistant in Internal Medicine. Here passion for healthcare is reflected in her diverse experience and unwavering dedication to patient care.

Alexey Fourman completed his medical degree in Russia and has been working as a CA in the General Medical Unit since 2016. 

Dr. Aditya Gajera

Dr. Aditya Gajera

Dr. Aditya Gajera obtained his degree in medicine in India (MBBS), where he was working at a hospital that provided care for nephrology and urology inpatients. In 2020, he then came to Canada and worked at an outpatient clinic in Toronto, and he has recently moved to Calgary. He has passed MCCQE I and USMLE I and II. He is very motivated to work as part of a team, to provide high-quality patient care, and to learn internal medicine and nephrology. 

Dr. Sanaz Hatami

Dr. Sanaz Hatami

Dr. Sanaz Hatami is a Clinical Assistant for General Internal Medicine at South Health Campus. Dr. Hatami obtained her medical training at Urmia University of Medical Sciences, Iran, and pursued her Ph.D. in experimental surgery at the University of Alberta, and a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular sciences. Additionally, she holds a Health MBA from SPMU University of Tehran. Dr. Hatami contributes to various trainee committees within Canadian scientific societies. She is highly involved in numerous studies aimed at enhancing patient lives. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and, her cat. She also loves reading, cooking, and staying active. 

Dr. Herta Kankpeyeng

Dr. Herta Kankpeyeng

Dr. Kankpeyeng, originally from Ghana, earned her medical degree at the University of Ghana. Her interests are in preventative medicine and acute care management. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, visiting natural sights, and trying out new recipes.

Dr. Andeebia Ayub Khan

Dr. Andeebia Ayub Khan

Dr. Andeebia Ayub Khan is an International Medical Graduate from Pakistan. Currently, she serves as a Clinical Assistant in the General Internal Medicine department at Peter Lougheed Hospital. She is dedicated to enhancing patient education and empowerment, with a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management. In her spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys hiking, gardening, and discovering new culinary experiences, blending her love for nature, art, and culture.

Dr. Maria Manzoor

Dr. Maria Manzoor is a dedicated International Medical Graduate with clinical experience from Pakistan and over one year as a licenced clinical trainee in British Columbia. Dr. Manzoor is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and English, with a basic understanding of Punjabi, Dr. Maria brings a unique ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Stepping into her new role as a clinical assistant in general internal medicine, Dr. Maria is driven by a vision of delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. 

Dr. Yamini Murthy

Dr. Yamini Murthy

Dr. Yamini Murthy, originally from Bangalore in India before continuing in the United Kingdom and has a background in Anesthesia. She has been working with the Respiratory Division of Internal Medicine at the Foothills Hospital for almost 10 years. She enjoys walking, hiking, watching her children play sports, learning and performing Indian classical dance with her daughter and spending time with her family.

Dr. Suvash Pokhrel

Dr. Suvash Pokhrel is passionate about the field of Internal Medicine including Respirology and General Internal Medicine. He loves to explore nature and live life happy.

Dr. Faaiza Rehman

Dr. Faaiza Rehman is a Dow Medical College-trained International Medical Graduate who excels in acute care and outpatient settings. As a Clinical Assistant in Internal Medicine at Peter Lougheed Centre, she adeptly communicates in English and Urdu. Committed to patient well-being, she delivers safe, patient-centered care with efficiency and compassion in fast-paced environments.

Dr. Nahida Sultana

Dr. Nahida Sultana is a dynamic, resourceful, and passionate International Medical Graduate. Dr. Sultana completed her MBBS Degree in Bangladesh in 2011. Following on from this, she developed well cultivated competenceies to manage a variety of clinical cases during her internship and postgraduate training. She is a hardworking and eager learners who strives to deliver excellence patient care.

Dr. Giass Uddin

Dr. Giass Uddin graduated in Internal Medicine and post-graduate studies in Bangladesh. He began practicing as an internist in 2017.  His wealth of experience in both urban and rural settings in medicine helped him greatly in my current role as a Clinical Assistant at the Peter Lougheed Centre. He looks forward to progressing his career in medicine in Canada.
